Trisha Krishnan's South Beauty is one of the industries most sought after actresses. In her career, the stunner has come a long way and has won hearts over the years with her unusual roles in films. Trisha won the Miss Madras title at the young age of sixteen. She also took part in some competitions for beauty pageants and a couple, the actress did it to the finals. Well, Trisha is nostalgic as she goes down the path of memory when she took part in the 1999 Miss Chennai contest. The stunner wrote, "30/09/1999 .. The day my life changed ... #MissChennai1999," sharing about it on Instagram.

The actress Nee Manasu Naaku Telusu also took part in the Miss India pageant in which she received the 'Beautiful Smile' title. She had her first lead role in the 2002 film Mounam Pesiyadhe, after joining the industry with a supporting role in the 1999 Tamil film Jodi. With popular films like Saamy (2003) and Ghilli (2004) in Tamil cinema and Varsham (2004), Trisha later rose to fame. In 2010, she made her Bollywood debut with Khatta Meetha by Akshay Kumar. Trisha got involved with Chennai-based businessman Varun Manian in 2015 on a personal front. However, within a few months after Varun allegedly asked her to stop acting, she called off her wedding with him. Meanwhile, other than Ponniyin Selvan, Trisha's kitty consists of Raangi and Paramapadham Vilayattu. In Ram, a Mollywood movie starring Mohanlal as the lead actor, she also plays the female lead role.
