All educational institutions in Telangana to reopen tomorrow on February 1st, according to the state administration. Sabitha Indra Reddy, the state education minister, has asked officials to reopen schools and colleges in accordance with the Covid19 protocol.
The Telangana Recognised School Management Association (TRSMA) and other teachers' groups have petitioned the government to prolong the academic year from April 24 to May 30. "We appreciate the government's decision to reopen schools for all grades and institutions, but we need more time to finish the work in the classrooms. The Telangana state government recently extended the Sankranti festival holidays from January 16 to 30, according to news sources. Some Telangana educational institutions have advised students to start attending physical classes on February 1, while others have decided to continue with online classes until February 10.
