TV actress Sara Khan has put the novel coronavirus to a positive test. The Bidaai actress took the news with her fans to social media. She wrote she tested Covid-19 positive. The actress wrote that she is ok at the moment and quarantined at home. Sara Khan shared a note on Instagram which read, "Unfortunately I've tested positive for coronavirus today!! Authorities and doctors instructed to quarantine at home!! Feeling fine and wishing for a quick recovery."
Sara Khan, currently seen on & TV's Santoshi Maa as Devi Poulomi-Sunayein Vrat Kathayein spoke about the same to India Today Television, and said "I've taken a break from shooting for a couple of days since I felt under the weather, but when I took the Covid-19 test, it was positive. I follow my doctor's medical advice religiously, and I'm hoping to get well soon. I'm asymptomatic, but asymptomatic or symptomatic, in both cases one has to maintain good hygiene and a safe distance from everyone. I’d advise everyone who came in close proximity with me to get themselves tested."
She added, "I 'm following home remedies because they work the best and, of course, steam. Covid-19 can happen to anyone, so it's really important to maintain good overall health so that when it hits you, you have a strong enough immune system to fight back the virus."
Sara Khan is the latest television celeb to contract the novel coronavirus. Parth Samthaan, Shrenu Parikh, Sachin Tyagi, Swati Chitnis, Samir Onkar and Rajesh Kumar had been tested positive for coronavirus earlier. All have recovered.
