Aler (Yadadri-Bhongir): "In the name of the Land Regularisation Scheme (LRS), both TS CM KCR and MAUD Minister KTR have ideally intended to rob individuals and people are being terrorised by their claims," alleged Bhongir MP Komatireddy Venkat Reddy. Yesterday, on Monday, together with Aler MLA Gongidi Sunitha, he laid the foundation stone for the construction of the BT road from Srinivasapuram to Kolanupaka, under Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana (PMGSY) III, through Patel Gudem of Aler. The estimated cost is Rs 267.26 lakh for the route.
MP Venkat Reddy, speaking on the occasion, said poor people worked hard and bought land from their savings for their children's future needs. The government is making vulnerable people as scapegoats to cover their mistakes instead of taking action against intruders and illegal ventures. He criticised that the government is looking to top-up the exchequer by Rs 4 to Rs 5 lakh crore by LRS. The MP said no one will find a form of CM KCR rule anywhere in the country and at the right time people will teach him a lesson. In order to defend himself from the wrath of people, CM KCR plans to reduce the LRS rate on the Assembly floor. MP Venkat Reddy called on the state to cancel the LRS or do it for free. Reddy told the people that he would fight on behalf of people that he would knock on the doors of the Supreme Court against the Land Regularisation Scheme of the State Government.
MLA Gongidi Sunitha said the dream of local people was realised through central funds allocated to the state and reminded the villagers that she had fulfilled her survey promise. Participants in the programme included MLC Krishna Reddy, MPP Gandamalla Ashok, ZPTC K Nagesh, MPDO Gyana Prakash Rao, MPP Salim, Sarpanches Vadla Navya, Pulagam Padma, A Mahender Reddy, Arutla Laxmi Prasad and local representatives.
