Election Commission of India justified the ban on PM Narendra Modi until the completion of the last phase of 2019 Lok Sabha Polls.
Earlier, Supreme Court was approached by the Producer over the ban on PM Narendra Modi Biopic during the election season. Subsequently, The Apex Court directed the Election Commission to watch the film and submit a report. In it's report to the Supreme Court, Election Commission made it clear decision to ban PM Narendra Modi during the elections is valid.
Members of the Poll Body who attended the screening are of the feeling that PM Modi biopic will certainly influence the voters if it releases anytime soon. So, One could understand how much Modi has been glorified by the makers with the uni-dimensional approach adopted by them.
The Supreme Court will take a final call on the release of PM Narendra Modi on Friday. Chances of granting permission for the release of the biopic prior to the 7th phase polling looks bleak if the report submitted by EC is any indication.
