KTR Retaliates Against The BJP For Labelling KCR A 'Traitor'.
Category: Telangana

K.T. Rama Rao, the working president of the Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS), has reacted angrily to allegations made by state BJP officials calling Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao a "traitor" for providing compensation to the relatives of farmers died during a demonstration against three farm laws. "Those who abandon thousands of poor farmers on the streets for a year due to a lethal cold and COVID are Desh Bhakts!! Those who provide a helpful hand are called traitors." Rama Rao, who is also the Minister for Industry, Information Technology, Municipal Administration, and Urban Development, tweeted about the strange logic. "Who the hell are these morons certifying Desh Bhakti?" KTR questioned.

BJP state president Bandi Sanjay and other officials criticised Chandrasekhar Rao for giving financial aid of Rs 3 lakh to the families of farmers killed during the year-long protest at a press conference on Sunday. KCR, according to Sanjay, should first offer a compensation package of Rs 20 lakh for each farmer died in the state as a result of his horrible actions.

Another BJP official referred to the Chief Minister as a "traitor" who pledged financial aid for "Khalistanis." The BJP leaders have now labelled KCR as "anti-national" for the second time.  After KCR criticised the Centre over "China seizing some Indian territory," Sanjay, who is BJP MP, labelled him as "anti-national." KCR retaliated by claiming that the BJP labels all opponents as "anti-national" or "urban Maoist."

KCR announced Rs 3 lakh for the families of farmers killed during the protest against three farm regulations during a press conference on Saturday. He had also demanded that the Centre pay Rs 25 lakh individually to the families of dead farmers, stating that the state government will spend Rs 22.5 crore towards this purpose.
