Kangana Ranaut, who earlier claimed that 99 per cent of people in the film industry are drug addicts, now wants a drug test for influential celebrities. She said in a new tweet that there were reports that Ranveer Singh, Ranbir Kapoor, Ayan Mukerji and Vicky Kaushal were 'cocaine users' and urged them to prove the theory was wrong by taking a drug test.

“I request Ranveer Singh, Ranbir Kapoor, Ayan Mukerji, Vicky Kaushik to give their blood samples for drug test, there are rumours that they are cocaine addicts, I want them to bust these rumours, these young men can inspire millions if they present clean samples. @PMOIndia,” she wrote.

Politician Manjinder Singh Sirsa posted a video from Karan Johar's party last year, which was originally posted by the filmmaker himself, saying the guests were in a 'drugged state.' The video included among others Ranbir, Ayan, Vicky, Deepika Padukone, Arjun Kapoor, Malaika Arora, Shahid Kapoor, Varun Dhawan. In an interview with Rajeev Masand, Karan had discussed the allegations and argued that if they were doing drugs, he would not have put up the video in the first place.

Pointing out how a light near Vicky's reflection was misconstrued as evidence, he said, "Apparently, you are not allowed to scratch your nose. You're not seemingly allowed to put your phone in your back pocket. Apparently, some kind of powder is viewed as a shadow of light. "Vicky had also refuted the allegations and told Mid-Day," It was a really chilled-out gathering. That video has been put out. And right after, I'm in the Arunachal Pradesh hills, with the Army, for three-four days, where there's no network. Of course I don't know. And I don't have any idea I've been 'the country's charsi!'

Raveena Tandon and Hansal Mehta have recently responded to reports that 99 per cent of Bollywood has been involved in drug use. They took Twitter to say it was wrong to generalise and that the film industry has 'rotted apples' like any other occupation.
