AP CM YS Jaganmohan Reddy offered appointment letters to AP Village Secretariat Employees at the A-Plus Convention Centre on Monday. He asked the Volunteers to wear the official badges and do their job with service motive. CM exuded the confidence over the commitment and capabilities of Grama Volunteers when it comes to maintaining transparency in delivering the benefits of welfare schemes to the doorsteps. He appealed the newly appointed employees to make this one of its kind mission successful with their cooperation.
YS Jagan told, 'We conducted examination for 20 lakh aspirants and offered permanent job for 1.5 lakh people who got qualified. This is a new record in the country. We have successfully allotted a volunteer for every 50 houses. Its a measure taken to bring the smile on everyone's faces. Village Volunteers will take care of ration cards and confirmation letters without charging bribe. They would participate in 34 activities happening in their village. From January 1st, 500 Services will be made available. We are going to offer a smartphone to gram volunteers. New Ration Cards and Pension would be provided from January 1st. Movements were happening in every state in the country due to lack of job opportunities. Whereas, YCP Government fulfilled its promise of creating lakhs of jobs by October 2nd. No other Chief Minister was able to do something like this. With people's blessings, We are going to fulfill every promise made during the elections'.
Jagan declared creation of new wards in the municipalities is under progress. He informed Gram Volunteers can happily work in their preferred villages.
