By the time, the match got over, the cameraman pointed at her several times and this also got the notice of team India. Post the match, captain Virat Kohli and vice-captain Rohit Sharma met her and the 87 year old was delighted that Virat and Rohit came to her. She blessed them and asked to continue the winning streak and lift the World Cup trophy.
This oldie is identified as Charulatha Patel and she is residing in England since 1975 which coincidentally happens to be the inaugural year of the ICC World Cup. Speaking to the media, Charulatha said she is proud of India and the boys are really doing well in the tournament.
