Hyderabad: The flagship brand of Innovent Technology, Booozie, has introduced a social drinking platform. This online and app-based social networking site includes, along with a list of brands and MRP, a directory of bars / clubs, deals and events that happen there. It also provides free tamper-proof delivery of door-step liquor. Not just these, it also offers free online tamper-proof liquor delivery at the door. Boozie 's distribution aggregator will collect liquor from nearest stores on online delivery, pay them without any commission whatever the price, and then provide free delivery.
Founders Vivekanand Balijepalli and Susovan Mazumder said they applied for permission in Hyderabad and they're going to launch it once they've received it. "We expect to launch operations in 10 states in India over the next 6 months and aim to cover at least 20 states over the next 12 months, subject to state government approval," said Vivekanand Balijepalli, Booozie's co-founder and CFO. It has partnered with HyperVerge Technology to provide users with age-gating, ID authentication, face recognition, thus limiting under-age users to access content or place orders on the app. Moreover, a review is performed at the time of distribution to ensure that no one misuses the network.
Online distribution in three states, West Bengal, Jharkhand and Odisha, is scheduled to begin. By picking up liquor from the nearest shop, with advance payment to stores and no fee from shops and offering free delivery, it would be a delivery aggregator. Over the next 12 months, it expects to generate 1000 + jobs. In the next twelve months, the social drinking platform plans to create over 1000 jobs. The duo also claimed that the National Defence Fund and the respective State CM Covid-19 Relief Fund will receive part of the revenue.
