The governing TRS establishment has a cloud of secrecy over it. The leadership of the party is unusually quiet. There is no talk of loss at GHMC. No announcements on who the next mayor is going to be. There is utter silence even on the much-touted Delhi visit. No one, not even the KCR, talks. Soon after returning from Delhi, CM KCR retreated to the Farm House. He didn't make his normal bravado-filled comments such as 'we made the Center pay through its nose and we made the prime minister to give us what we are legitimately.' Even KTR fell silent. Balka Suman was left to make a poor comment and to scoot off.
It is also reliably known that the leadership of the TRS asked the ministers and MLAs not to comment on the loss of the GHMC. Minister Srinivas Goud and former Secretary Laxma Reddy actually made some very appalling comments about the loss of the GHMC. They were asked to join silent mode. It's very odd here. It lacks the usual flamboyance and prosperity. Ever since the party boss came back from Delhi, everyone at the party has been quiet. The political watchers are rankled by this silence.
