YSR Congress Party candidates seem to be exhausted with the hectic campaigning in the sizzling temperature ahead of the polls and are visibly taking the help of alcohol to relieve them of the stress. However, they are not confining to the walls of their houses but going public in an inebriated state, which is catching the attention of the people and denting their image.
After YSRC candidate for Narsapur Parliamentary constituency Raghu Ramakrishna Raju's video showing him swaying under the influence of alcohol at a public meeting caught people's attention, now it is the turn of another candidate, Anil Kumar Yadav, contesting for Nellore Urban Assembly segment, who went overboard with his extreme talk in the public.
The video with Yadav's statement that a wink by YSRC president Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy would finish all his rivals has gone viral. Further, he went on to say 'Kill or get killed! Victory or defeat!!', all supposedly in an inebriated state. He even said that there was no other option but for the YSRCP flag to flutter high, once the 2019 election results are out.
The social media is rife with criticism about how YSRCP leaders and supporters have been behaving irresponsibly in public places. Some of them also are pointing out that these provocative statements are unnecessarily dividing people and creating a disturbance in the state. They say that such incidents are indicative of the way YSRCP will rule the state.
Meanwhile, the supporters of Raghu Ramakrishna Raju reportedly lodged a complaint with the police that the video showing their leader swaying in the public was morphed. We wonder what Anil Kumar Yadav's supporters will do?
