After attending the 'Brahmotsavam' in Tirumala, Chief Minister Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy left for Hyderabad, where he offered 'Pattu Vastram' (silk robes) on behalf of the state government to the presiding deity, Lord Venkateswara Swamy. Together with Karnataka Chief Minister B S Yediyurappa, he laid the foundation stone on Thursday for a crore pilgrim complex and a marriage hall at Tirumala, which is estimated to cost Rs 200 crore.
Jagan entered Renigunta Airport after attending the events in Tirumala and arrived at Begumpet Airport in Hyderabad. He will go directly to Hyderabad's Continental Hospitals to see his father-in - law, Dr. E C Gangi Reddy, a renowned pediatrician, and Y S Bharati's father, who has been admitted to the hospital. It is understood that Dr. Gangi Reddy has not been doing well for many days. After spending some time with his father-in - law at Continental Hospitals, Jagan is scheduled to reach Gannavaram airport on Thursday at around 1:20 pm. It is all too well known that Sugana Reddy, the wife of Gangi Reddy, and Y S Rajasekhara Reddy, the former Chief Minister, were classmates. Sugana Reddy's relationship with YSR led to the marriage between Jagan Mohan Reddy and Bharathi.
