Allu Arjun tests positive for Covid-19 and remains under home-quarantine. Confirming the same on social media, the actor shared a note asking fans to stay safe.
Sharing his health status, the actor wrote, “Hello everyone! I have tested positive for Covid. I have isolated myself. I request those who have come in contact with me to get tested. I request all my well wishers and fans not to worry as I am doing fine.Stay home, stay safe.” (sic) The note also reads, “I have isolated myself at home and have been following all the protocols. Stay home, stay safe and get vaccinated when you get the chance.”
Allu Arjun was busy shooting for Sukumar’s Pushpa with Rashmika Mandanna. Anasuya Bharadwaj was also brought on-board recently for a key role in the film that will see Fahadh Faasil debut in Telugu. Shooting for the film has now been paused until everyone on set gets tested for Covid-19. Recently, Allu Arjun’s team and his father Allu Aravind had also tested positive for coronavirus. As the actor hasn’t revealed it, it’s unknown if he has any symptoms. It’s also unknown if his wife Allu Sneha Reddy and children Ayaan and Arha are safe.
Allu Aravind had tested positive for Covid-19 after receiving the first dose for the vaccine. The producer took to social media to clarify that the only reason he was experiencing mild symptoms was because of the vaccine and his colleague who had not taken the vaccine was on ventilator. He had also clarified that he was yet to take his second dose of the vaccine at the time he contacted the virus.
