TRS working president KT Rama Rao hit back at Telangana PCC chief Uttam Kumar Reddy and asked how much did Congress party invest and bought Revanth Reddy. Responding to the allegations Uttam made that TRS is buying Congress MLAs ahead of MLC elections, KTR gave a strong counter.
''Before the Telangana assembly elections, MP Konda Vishweshwar Reddy joined Congress. How much did you buy him for and before that Revanth left TDP. What is his price tag? Also reveal much did you offer for TRS MLCs Bhupathi Reddy and Yadav Reddy,'' said KTR.
The TRS working president added that changing parties is common in politics but it was Congress who encouraged defections. ''Your own Congress MLA has criticised that leadership of TPCC and said it needed a change. What you got to say about that? MLAs who are appreciating KCR's governance have individually come forward to join TRS and are even ready to resign and contest on TRS ticket,'' stated KTR.
